Production Process of Bio-based PE The core lies in the transformation of raw materials, from "underground oil" to "above-ground plants."

1. Agricultural Planting and Fermentation: Planting high-sugar or high-starch crops such as sugarcane and corn.

2. Ethanol Production: Bio-based ethanol is obtained through the fermentation and distillation of these crops.

3. Dehydration to Ethylene: Bio-based ethanol is dehydrated under the action of a catalyst to produce bio-based ethylene. This is the most crucial step, realizing the transformation from biomass to chemical monomers.

4. Polymerization: Bio-based ethylene is polymerized through the same polymerization reactions as traditional processes (such as high-pressure free radical polymerization and low-pressure coordination polymerization) to produce bio-based polyethylene resin.

5. Processing and Molding: The resin is processed into final products such as plastic bags, bottles, and cans through processes such as blown film, injection molding, and blow molding.
